Snaggle Tooth's Sister

I can't post about him, and forget Miss C-Bear. She's a model in the making, I swear. She's got flawless skin, beautiful eyes, and she doesn't have to smile big to make a great picture.
We went to the park yesterday for some playing and photography. We took pictures first, and as we were heading to the playground... the skies open up and it POURED down rain! Thankfully, I was able to get this cute capture of Miss C.

Snaggle Tooth

This weekend, while watching the children of one of my best friends, R lost a tooth. And wouldn't you know... we lost it. He was standing still when it happened, and we have no idea where it went. He said he didn't swallow it, it wasn't on the floor. It apparently spontaneously combusted.
After getting home, we wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy, asking her to please leave a gift even though we can't find his tooth. She was very nice, and left a little something. I guess she pryed open his mouth to inspect the newly formed hole!
Here's Mr. Snaggle Tooth in all his glory:

Look at that Cute Belly!

I had the pleasure of photographing S this morning. We scheduled a maternity shoot for her a few weeks ago, and I had been eagerly anticipating it! Hopefully, I got some shots that we both like! S's husband is currently stationed in Iraq, and has been for almost her entire pregnancy. He got his orders a few weeks after finding out they were pregnant. Hopefully, these images will help him feel close to home.

Thanks, M...

... for a great morning!
Although it was FREEZING this morning, the skies were blue and the sun was shining. M and I headed downtown to some buildings I hadn't used yet. I fell in love with this old shop that had the perfect amount of rust on it. Full of character, if you ask me. I've been wanting to take pictures there for a while, and it worked out wonderfully today!
Here are a few teasers from your session, M!!

The Loves of My Life...

... CindyLou and Toby!
Last night, while setting up for a session that I have this morning, the animals decided that they wanted some camera time. CindyLou (as you can see from this picture) wasn't exactly thrilled to have a camera in front of her face, but like always was a good girl. Toby, on the other hand, is a camera hog!!

If anyone is interested in pet portraits, please let me know, and we can set up a session!

Engagement Shoot - L & C

"Fun and In Love"... the only words I can find to describe this couple. Originally, we hadn't planned on doing engagement pictures together, but I decided that it would be a great opportunity for us all to get to know one another before the Big Day. L happily agreed when I told her that I would count them as part of their package. =)
The location of their wedding is near a park, where we'll be taking a lot of the wedding pictures. For that reason, I suggested we go somewhere a little different. Different meant downtown, and they were such good sports for my creative shots!
Here are a few teaser pictures from their session yesterday!

My Wonderful Husband

Little did he realize that our outing to Grand Bay today was really an attempt to take pictures of him! He doesn't like to be the center of attention much, but I was able to snatch a few shots.

Practice with my new camera!

This afternoon, I went out to Grand Bay with Brett and practiced shooting with my new Olympus d-SLR. I have an engagement shoot tomorrow with a couple whom I'm taking wedding pictures for in April, and really wanted to test things out before then. I'm suprised by how much heavier it is than my old Fuji! Nonetheless, we had a good time and I was able to capture some pretty good images.

Welcome to my new Blog!

After much thought, and about 50 website name denials, I have finally found the new name for my photography business: The Bond Between Us - Kelly Williams Photography.
I hope my photography services will live up to this name... as with each photograph I take, and photo session I complete, my intentions are to capture the essence of the bond between those people. Whether it be a couple preparing to marry, a husband and wife awaiting the arrival of their first child, or the rivalry of siblings... capturing the bond that you share is priceless.

In the coming months, look forward to a full-on website with galleries and new ways of presenting information. Until then, sit tight with this blog, and enjoy the pictures to follow!
