I always have favorites... in each session, each wedding, each landscape grouping. While finishing up with Stacy and Phil's wedding from August 4, I saw this of Phil and his daughter, Courtney. Definitely one of my favorite's from the day... you can just see the happiness that Courtney has being around her dad!
(Your read correctly, Stacy, I'm done with your images!!!)
In my personal life, I have several friends who serve in the Air Force, a family member who is in the Army, and a slew of acquaintances that share ties with people involved in different military branches.
With cooler months ahead (hopefully!) and a need to begin thinking about this year's christmas cards, I wanted to extend a photography special to active duty military families. Mention this blog post and receive a **free** family session, as well as 15% off ordered prints.
This offer is valid through October 31st (booking and session completed by then). If interested, e-mail me at: thebondbetweenus@gmail.com
P.S. Friends/clients/random people of mine... if you know a military family that might be interested in this offer, please send them this blog address. You might just get a little something special yourself!
I’ve been tagged! In blog speak, it means that I’ve been contacted by a fellow blog reader (Jen from JenLee Photography!) and asked to share 8 interesting facts about myself and then “tag” others to do the same.
So, here’s my list!
8. If I had to pick another occupation I would choose to be a teacher.7. My favorite vacation ever was to Aruba for my 21st birthday.6. I have a problem with checking my e-mail all the time.5. I like tomato sauce, but not tomatoes. Similarly, I like strawberry flavored things, but not strawberries.4. I have an addiction to Coca-Cola.3. I’ve never been to the West Coast.2. My husband and I have been together for almost 7 years. We went on our first date after a mutual friend meeting us for dinner cancelled on us. It was at Ruby Tuesdays.1. The last time I had my picture taken by a professional photographer – other than my wedding - was when I was in high school. (Sad, huh?)
I'm not usually one for selective coloring on a picture, but every once in a while it just works. It "just worked" with this image of Melissa, taken during our TTD session last weekend.
