A big congrats to Lindsay and Chris on their wedding yesterday! I can't resist putting up a few of their images...

Flourescent Tuxes and Horrible Lighting...

As I finalize my plans for this evening's wedding, I thought I'd take a break and recap the terrible dream that I had last night.
I was 30 minutes late to the wedding, took only about a hand-full of pre-ceremony pictures, the guys had on tuxes in different flourescent colors, and there was horrible lighting. As in, none of my pictures came out.
Thankfully, I woke up... and then realized that I've just got to relax!!! =)

I hope to be able to share some AWESOME images from this wedding with you all. I'm really excited, and the bride & groom have been fantastic to work with so far! Cross your fingers for me!!!

My Favorite Things

This post is inspired by Jen of Jen Lee Photography (link to her blog to the right). She made a list of her favorite things, and since my birthday is less than a month away, thought I might make a list of my own! =)

Grand Bay

Saturday's family session was at Grand Bay, a wonderful nature preserve area in Valdosta. It's so peaceful, serene, and beautiful. After the session, I was able to take the following pictures to add to my nature portfolio. It's always neat to go there and find something new to photograph!

The Smith Family

Okay, I'll admit it... this was a challenge for me. A mom and two adult children (well, 17 is almost adult). I had to throw out my ideas for "kid" poses, and figure out how I would photograph three adults.
I was approached by Ms. Smith for a last-minute photo session, as her daughter was coming home for the weekend from grad school. (She was referred by the family with the adorable three boys from last weekend.) Luckily, I didn't have anything planned yesterday during the time alotted for the session!
I was really excited to being doing a session at Grand Bay. I've been there a hundred times, but never photographing people... only nature.

Here are a few of the first images I've been able to proof so far. Thanks, Smith Family, I had a lot of fun!

This morning's shoot was a blast with a capital B. The M family is so full of love and laughter; a perfect combo, if you ask me. I've got a bunch of photos to proof from their session, but wanted to give Mom a sneak peek.
