I've been thinking for a while about doing something fun for Mother's Day. And, obviously, since it's passed... you know that I couldn't think of anything cool. Until today. The morning after. Hrmph.
At any rate... I'd love to give away a Mom & Me mini-session, a 30 minute on-location portrait session. To me, though, a Mom & Me mini-session probably isn't what you're thinking of (you're thinking of you and your child, right?) Nope, the Mom & Me mini-session I'm thinking of is of you and YOUR mom. As in two adult women.
This thought occurred to me when I realized this morning that the last picture that my mom and I have of ourselves is five years ago from my wedding... and the picture before that was during my sophomore year in high school. In other words -- way too long ago! :) In an effort to prevent that from occurring in your family, here it is... the Mom & Me mini-session!
In order to win this giveaway, you need to clear a few things off this list.
1. You have to be in (or willing to travel to) the Valdosta-ish area (-ish areas include places like Lake Park, Quitman, Lakeland, etc... anywhere within about a 30 minute drive).
2. You have to be available to complete this session by September 31, 2010.
3. You have to leave a comment here on my blog telling me why you and your mom are deserving of this.
4. You receive bonus points if you blog about this, Facebook about this, tell people in your Mommy group... anything else cool and fun that lets other people know about this giveaway. As a present to you for that, your name will be counted twice as long as you post here a comment providing a link with proof.
The Tiny Print: Winners will receive a free session, however prints and other products are not included. Winner must provide dates of availability to coordinate with Kelly's schedule. Submissions will be accepted through midnight on Thursday. The winner will be announced here on the blog on Friday by 6:00pm.
I would love to have a portrait session with my MOM! I am always snapping pics of my girls, and other people and my mom and I rarely get pics together. Also, she is such a great help with my girls, this would be a nice way for me to say thanks.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I will post about this comment on my blog tonight when I update...http://johnmelandkayden.blogspot.com
Thanks!

updated blog with your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI actually think a photo session with my mom and my sister would be great! I know you said two adult women. But to be honest I don't know the last time I had my picture taken with both of them! And I have to say that my mom would enjoy it more if it was both of her girls! My mom is awesome! She has put up with so many things that my sister and I have both thrown at her. She has picked both of us up when we've fallen. She even drove in the middle of the night cause I was having a really bad time in college and stayed with me. She would always come visit me at school and take all my friends out to eat. But most of all, she has always been supportive, no matter what choice we made.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I added this to my facebook.
ReplyDeleteI think I should win because I can't remember when I have taken a picture with both my girls! Number one because I am the one always taking the pictures, and number two because Ivey always has her eyes shut! PICK ME.... CHOOSE ME.....(Grey's Anatomy, in case you don't watch!)
ReplyDeleteSeriously? seriously!
and also because I am so technically challenged that i can't create an identity to identify myself... but i guess you figured it out, uh?
ReplyDeleteALso shared on my FB! CFM
ReplyDeleteI think the last time me and mom had a professional photo taken together was at my wedding as well. Is that sad or what? Ike and I have been married for 9 years in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteI think having some pictures with my mom would be great! Having my sister in them with me would be even better! I know you said 2...but like Ivey, I think my mom would really enjoy a chance to get a session with both of her girls.
BTW: I posted this giveaway on facebook.
ReplyDeleteI would love the opportunity to have some updated photos taken with my mom. The last ones that we have are from my wedding nearly five years ago. Even random shots of us are few and far between due to the distance between us. She lives in Ohio and me here in Valdosta. She is an amazing person and never takes time to do anything for herself....this is something that I know she would love to have. Even better if my sister was in town and the three of us took them together. I will post this on my blog tonight when I put my next post up!
